DECLARATION OF PROMULGATION OF DEPTS AT POTI HARBOR WHARFS
Based on latest sounding of the navigable segment of the Harbor:
1. Entrance channel - Done 30.04.2025 , depths are maintained well and smallest depths at the present time shows on profiles
+500 till +550 is 10.2 meters + 0.73 water level, real depth are 10.20 meters minimum.
However around Fairway Buoy depth are 10.5 meters and less.
Therefore refer to safe under keel navigation depth’s reserve UKC = 0.50 meters, according to port regulation of Georgia for safe navigation of vessels through port access channel and seasonal changes of water, the maximum working draught for present time is determined not more to than 10.20 meters.
2. Refer to Passports of the berths 2024 , amendment 2025 ( #7) and design vessel, Operational length of berths determined
Allowable working draft at the alongside of berth should be up dated until project depths and The declaration of updated will be determined and prescribed upon receiving of new soundings.
For safe navigation it is also necessary to take account the height of wave and the speed of the Ships.
